Terms of Sale

These Terms of Sale apply to all quotations, orders, and sales of products supplied by Yevro Polycarbonate Supply (“Yevro”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) to the purchaser (“Customer”). By placing an order with Yevro, the Customer agrees to these Terms of Sale unless otherwise confirmed by Yevro in writing.

1. General

Yevro supplies polycarbonate sheets, profile systems, and related materials for wholesale, trade, and project-based applications in Canada. All products are offered subject to availability, quotation, and written order confirmation.

2. Quotations & Pricing

All quotations are provided in Canadian dollars unless otherwise stated in writing.

Unless otherwise specified in writing:

  • quotations are valid for 7 days
  • pricing may change after that period due to exchange-rate movements, supplier price changes, freight changes, customs-related costs, duties, taxes, or other cost increases outside our reasonable control

Unless clearly stated otherwise in writing, quoted prices do not include applicable taxes, unloading, site handling, or special delivery requirements.

3. Orders

An order is considered accepted only once it has been confirmed by Yevro in writing.

Yevro reserves the right to refuse, delay, or cancel any order prior to shipment or release of goods in the event of product unavailability, pricing errors, credit concerns, or other reasonable business circumstances.

4. Payment Terms

Payment terms are determined by Yevro based on the order type, account status, and agreed commercial terms.

Unless otherwise confirmed in writing:

  • a deposit may be required to confirm an order
  • the remaining balance must be paid before pickup, release, dispatch, shipment, or delivery
  • credit terms are available only to approved accounts and may be revised or withdrawn at Yevro’s discretion

Yevro may withhold shipment, delivery scheduling, or release of goods until all required payments due at that stage have been received.

5. Deposits & Cancellations

Deposits are used to confirm orders and reserve, allocate, procure, or prepare inventory.

Unless otherwise agreed in writing:

  • deposits are non-refundable once an order has been confirmed and inventory has been allocated, prepared, cut, procured, or scheduled
  • special-order, non-stock, project-specific, or cut materials are not cancellable once confirmed
  • if a Customer cancels an order after confirmation, Yevro reserves the right to retain any deposit paid and recover any reasonable costs incurred in connection with that order

6. Delivery & Pickup

Any shipping, transit, delivery, or availability dates provided by Yevro are estimates only unless expressly confirmed in writing.

Yevro is not responsible for delays caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including supplier delays, production delays, customs delays, freight interruptions, carrier delays, labour disruptions, weather events, or other supply-chain issues.

For pickup orders, goods must be collected within a reasonable period after the Customer is notified that the order is ready. Storage or handling fees may apply to orders not collected within a reasonable time.

For delivered orders, the Customer is responsible for ensuring that the delivery location is accessible and suitable for unloading. Additional charges may apply where special access, re-delivery, waiting time, or site-specific handling is required.

7. Inspection & Returns

The Customer must inspect the goods promptly upon pickup or delivery.

Any visible shortage, transit damage, or incorrect product should be reported to Yevro in writing within 48 hours of pickup or delivery.

Returns are not accepted without prior written approval from Yevro. Approved returns may be subject to inspection, restocking charges, return freight, and condition requirements.

Custom, special-order, non-stock, cut-to-size, installed, used, or damaged products are not eligible for return unless otherwise required by law.

8. Product Suitability & Code Compliance

The Customer is solely responsible for confirming that the selected products are suitable for the intended application, structure, installation method, local code requirements, and end use.

Buyers are also responsible for verifying any required fire-rating, code compliance, or project-specific approval for the intended application.

Any technical information, product guidance, or general recommendations provided by Yevro are offered in good faith for general reference only and do not replace project-specific engineering, architectural review, code review, or installation responsibility.

9. Warranties & Liability

Any applicable product warranty is subject to the terms, conditions, limitations, and claim procedures set out in the relevant Yevro warranty document for that product category.

Except as expressly stated in an applicable written warranty or as required by law, Yevro makes no additional warranties, express or implied.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Yevro’s liability in relation to any product claim is limited, at Yevro’s option, to replacement of the affected product, refund of the purchase price paid for the affected product, or another remedy required by applicable law.

Yevro is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or economic losses, including labour, removal, reinstallation, project delays, loss of profit, or third-party claims.

10. Title & Risk

Risk of loss or damage passes to the Customer upon pickup, delivery, or transfer of the goods to the carrier, whichever occurs first.

Ownership of goods remains with Yevro until the purchase price and all other amounts owing in relation to the order have been paid in full.

11. Overdue Accounts

Yevro reserves the right to charge interest on overdue amounts at a reasonable rate permitted by applicable law, together with any reasonable collection or enforcement costs.

If payment is not made when due, Yevro may suspend future orders, hold shipments, revise payment terms, or cancel outstanding commitments.

12. Force Majeure

Yevro is not responsible for failure or delay in performance caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, war, government action, supply shortages, transportation disruption, labour disputes, customs delays, supplier delays, production delays, port delays, freight interruptions, carrier delays, weather events, or other supply-chain issues.

13. Governing Law

These Terms of Sale are governed by the laws of the Province of Alberta and the applicable laws of Canada.
