Claims, Damages & RMA Policy

Yevro Polycarbonate supplies European-made polycarbonate sheets and accessories for professional and wholesale buyers in Canada, including Full Container Loads (FCL). Delivery responsibilities are confirmed in your quotation and commercial documents (including FCA / DAP / DDP where applicable).

Because our products ship in bulk and international freight is complex, we handle order issues through an RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) process rather than retail-style returns. Nothing in this policy limits rights or remedies that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

FAQ

Do you accept returns if I change my mind?

In general, no. Our orders are placed for professional use and are often allocated/packed specifically for your shipment. We do not accept returns due to project changes, ordering the wrong item, or no longer needing the product.

What should I do when my shipment arrives?

Please inspect immediately (before storing or moving product around if possible). If there’s visible damage or shortage, note it on the carrier paperwork (when applicable) before signing and contact us right away.

What’s your deadline to report damage or shortages?

  • Visible damage / shortage: report within 48 hours of delivery
  • Concealed damage: report within 5 calendar days of delivery and keep all packaging

Noting visible damage at delivery is important — if it’s not noted, carrier claim eligibility may be affected.

What if I received the wrong product?

Report it within 7 calendar days of delivery. We’ll confirm the discrepancy and determine the remedy.

What if I think there’s a manufacturing defect?

Report it within 7 calendar days of delivery, or within 7 days of discovery for issues that couldn’t reasonably be detected at delivery. We may request photos/videos, batch/label information, and/or a sample for evaluation.

How do I open an RMA?

Email or call us with:

  • Quote/invoice number
  • Delivery date
  • Product details (type, thickness, quantity)
  • Photos of packaging + affected product
  • Pallet/crate labels (if applicable)

How are issues usually resolved?

Depending on the situation, condition of goods, and the agreed shipping term, resolution may include (at our discretion):

  • Replacement product (immediate or scheduled)
  • Store credit / partial credit
  • Refund (where applicable)

Because international returns are typically impractical, issues are usually resolved without requiring a return to origin, unless we specifically request it in writing.

What situations are not eligible for claims/returns?

We can’t accept claims for:

  • Product that has been installed, used, cut, drilled, machined, or modified
  • Product with protective film removed (where applicable), scratches, or handling damage
  • Issues caused by improper storage, site handling after delivery, or incorrect installation
  • Normal variations within manufacturer tolerances/specs

Do you ever approve returns?

Rarely. If a return is exceptionally approved in writing:

  • An RMA is required
  • Goods must be unused and in original packaging suitable for resale
  • A restocking fee may apply (up to 30%)
  • Freight/insurance and any customs/brokerage costs are typically the buyer’s responsibility unless the issue is our error

What about warranty coverage?

Where applicable, coverage is provided under the manufacturer’s written warranty and its terms/conditions. Your site references:

  • Multiwall sheets: 10-year manufacturer warranty (UV performance)
  • Solid sheets: 15-year manufacturer warranty (UV performance)
